- You will use the MAG process to prepare precise attachment points on metal parts, which are necessary for the successful centring and fastening of components
- You will also ensure that the subsequent submerged arc welding process is optimally prepared
- Submerged arc welding (SAW) is also part of your job, where you carry out build-up welding to professionally renew worn surfaces of large rolling rolls
- through your knowledge, you ensure that the rolling rolls regain their original dimensions and functionality
- in addition, you pay particular attention to detail in all work steps and contribute your technical expertise
Anforderungen
- You have completed technical or craft training or have a comparable qualification
- Practical experience in welding, especially with MAG and ideally submerged arc welding
- Welding certificates are an advantage, but not a prerequisite
- technical understanding and manual dexterity characterise you
- very good written and spoken German skills enable you to communicate clearly
- flexibility with regard to working in 2 or 3 shifts is a matter of course for you
- the ability to work in a team and the willingness to be thoroughly trained by colleagues if necessary, to be thoroughly familiarised with the specific welding techniques and processes by colleagues if required are among your strengths
- A valid work permit (work papers) is a prerequisite
